4. I am such a sinner, Father. Do pray for me. I can’t stop, cannot stop my evil nature. I want to be orthodox. Just seems like an uphill battle. I love my sin more than God. May the Lord bless you, Father, and thank you for these videos.

7. Thank You Father. It reminds me of the story St. Paisios once told of a monk who was an alcoholic and his struggle everyday to decrease the amount he drank. He went from 21 drinks a day down to 4 drinks before he died. St. Paisios related that he saw the angels come to retrieve the monk's soul and some monks questioned him on how this was possible since the monk who died had died a drunk. St. Paisios told them that this monk's struggle to try to quit each day of his life was why the Lord rewarded this struggle with saving him in the end. Truly the Lord's mercy knows no bounds as long as we truly struggle to the end.

18. I am addicted to several things. I desperately want to stop, but at the same time because of the addiction I'm also scared to death of stopping. I feel like these things hold me and though I try to choose other things and right things, inevitably I fall to these things. One of the things I'm addicted to is cannabis. It's legal here and I was given it by a doctor for anxiety and depression. Now I can't stop. I can't even force myself to go a day without it. Part of me says "get rid of it! You can use it if you don't have it." But I would. I would just buy more, or someone would offer more, or something like that because the fear becomes too much to handle.
    I've stopped for months before only to fall back in after a particularly bad day or week or month, all of which I've had in abundance this year. I want to be a follower of Christ but where is this power we're supposed to have to avoid these things? Am I a vessel for dishonor? Should I stop trying? I don't know what to do.

    Seems like a lot of my brethren belive in judgment more than repentance

28. But my soul was heal in a passive manner. I trusted the holy ghost my regeneration. I'm now free of many bondages I had. I believe we need to live in the spirit instead of trying to simply fullfil the moral law.

30. Father, please remember me in your prayer. As a stranger I am to you, please remind me in your prayer for I am in great pain. I don’t see a bright future ahead, I am filled with anger, resentment, and anxiety. I feel as if my prayers aren’t enough or God’s ear aren’t inclined to me. I am so exhausted, my relationship with my family is severed, I have fallen into despair because of my cervical disc extrusion and now I am told that I might not walk because the injury has been developed into something serious. I have suffered all my life and now I feel abandoned God, and his saints and my earthly family and friends. I have nothing to live for.
