2. Stunning!  I just started my journey into The Orthodox Faith of Eastern Rite. (Antioch) Until now did not know that there was an Orthodox of Western Rite.  Guess I was confusing it with the Roman Catholic church.  (the West) Are they in communion together?  Thanks and Very beautiful.  Every time I listen to one of these Chants, it moves my soul.

13. Does anyone know if the Western Rite Orthodox use leavened or unleavened bread for the liturgy? Do they go to confession in the box behind a screen? I was also wondering how they make the sign of the cross and how common or not is the use of three dimensional statues like the Catholics alongside the Icons. Im Russian Orthodox and trying to learn a bit about the Western Rite Orthodox. Thank you. Kyril

19. I think I've asked this before but do they have communion with the Orthodox Church in the East (like the Russian Orthodox Church,the Greek Orthodox Church etc)

20. It would be nice, since this video is about the WESTERN RITE, if you would've played Western music, such as Gregorian Chant.

21. That is a traditional rite in the western church and that is called a Traditional Latin Mass or Tridentine Mass. That rite can be used nowadays even there is a Vatican II in Roman Catholic Church but in numerous occasions only. I'm a Roman Catholic and I also like the liturgy of Orthodox Church, i'm hoping that there are unification between this two churches. I love Orthodoxy, God Bless your church and your Patriarchs

25. I'm Eastern Orthodox, but really enjoyed the chant in this video. This must be proper Gregorian Chant, and I really like it!
