I have a question though do I always have to pray the saints prayers and the Jesus prayer can I pray normally ? Sometimes I struggle to find the right prayer to pray in certain times and I feel the need to pray my own prayer , I still thank God in prayer as one should.

Hello father spyridon! i'm currently having a debate with some friends of mine which belong to the catholic confession. and i'm trying to explain the concept of filioque o them but it seems pretty hard to me to find the appropriate word for an exhaustive explanation. would you mind giving me some input in this regard?
