Talk by Orthodox priest.

I am a little confused, so if I am wrong please forgive me! The narrator of this video says that Christ asked Peter “if he loved Him” three times because Peter WOULD go on to deny Him. However in my Bible, a King James Version, Christ asks this question after His resurrection and after Peter had ALREADY denied Him. My immediate thought was that maybe Christ asked this question before Peter denied Him in one of the other Gospels, however, I haven’t found any reference to this in another Gospel.
@2:28 «Even before»? Peter was reinstated shorty after the Resurrection, as described at the very end of the Gospel of John (21: 15-19)…
To say that one can be forgiven in advance for their sins is quite risky, especially in an era when every single words of the Bible is being misplaced and altered from the actual meaning… it would be easy — for somebody at least — to feel “justified” on harming or kill the others because, at the end of the day, it must be easy to repent afterwards…
Thank you for reminding us to pray for our bishops.
On a personal note, can you possibly give me some advice? I am a practically life long struggling individual, but I only ever developed a need for actual, spiritual help within the past 10 years or so. I wanted on several occasions within the past year to speak to an available priest, but some kind of impediment always got in the way of me getting to see them, to accommodate their availability. The thing is the timing on any of those occasions was ideal for me, and since I suffer from ocd I get frequently inundated by thoughts and feel like I can't process things properly, on a day to day basis. I really don't know what to do or how to be, for want of a better phrase..
Gratias Padre.. Dominus Vobiscum🙏
Whats hard is knowing when God is speaking to us…
I try to listen to him and react accordingly.
I want so much to allow Jesus to mold me as if i were clay.

Fr Spyridon, I am so edified by your reflections. Thank you.

Living Icons. ❤
thank you Father Spyridon. God bless you.
What a comfort this video is Father!
Thank you father Spyridon! What are your thoughts on the best way to fully immerse your self into Orthodox teachings, is it common practise to dedicate months etc at a monastary? I want to know more but and immerse my self but am not sure how is best
I'm so glad YouTube recommended me your YouTube channel, God bless you Father Spyridon.
I love what you say, Father Spyridon. But I cannot stand Patriarch Kirill, whom you seem to have set as an example. He is a corrupt leader, an ultimately spoilt individual, who uses his power to get money and more influence. All thanks to Putin, of course. I understand, you might not be invested in Russian politics, though. But do consider looking into it.
Thank you Fr Spyridon💕Love your videos and books!
Thank you Father. Please pray for me.
I have been in Orthodoxy for 6 years and have learned more from you and your videos in a week than in those years. Thank you so much for your insights given to you by God to share with us!
Thank you🙏RIP GEORGE FLOYD😢

1:18, an important question.
5:00, Christ was not sent for comfort and riches. As He sent, so are we!
No Man is an Island, without the grace of God we fail, I learned this the hard way and now my life is so much better than it ever was. Pray for me Father, a sinner.
God bless you Father Spyridon and thank you for your teachings.
People like St. Herman of Alaska should be remembered in church too no matter what worship rite it is.
Bless you Father!!! Your messages help me more than you can ever imagine
Thank you for your love, wisdom, and grace, Father Spyridon. I am a lifelong Protestant and seek to pray and act in unity with the whole body of Christ – I am so very thankful for my Orthodox brothers & sisters in Christ (including some immediate family members!) Thank you for your faithfulness!
Underrated, profound speaker & message. ☦
