So where did 666 originate in popular culture as bad and representing evil if in turn elders say its not that?
I was thinking about this a lot. I think the mark will be a sign of accepting the antichrist as your master. Like when you mark your cattle. This mark could be invisible (only detectable by a scanner or other electronic devices). It will be a mark with the name of the antichrist on it and an unique id that identifies you. They don't need a chip inside your body. Your personal information can be stored in a database. But they want to know where you are and what you buy or sell. The antichrist will appear as a savior, that's why many people will accept the mark.
Common sense! Let us not get carried away! All in the end is according to God's plan. Thy will be done.
