Metropolitan Athanasios of Limassol in this video recounts his experience with Saint Porphyrios of Kafsokalivia and how he saved him, and some other Athonite monks, from a terrible storm. He goes on to describe multiple conversations he had with the Saint and how Saint Porphyrios would help many people through his great love for them, while maintaining at the same time the truth of the matter. Finally, he describes how the Saint Porphyrios fell asleep on Mount Athos, and how all of nature proceeded to reflect a sober mood the days following his passing.
