16. Bojan, I am seriously looking into the Orthodox Church. In the general vicinity of where I live there is the following denominations: Serbian, Greek, OCA, Bulgarian, and Antiochian churches. How can I help myself in choosing one and what are your thoughts about each denomination here, and what would you choose and why?

    Sorry for the long question. I also think a video on this may be useful to other people like myself seeking our church home.

17. How many apocrypha books are there in Easter Orthodox church? Are they the same as Roman Catholic church's? (Besides book of Enoch , Apocalypse of Abraham and I believe even some are there? or maybe more then some ) and I heard that book of Enoch is accepted in Ethiopian Orthodox church , what is your opinion on that ? 20. Hi Bojan,
    I just wanted to start this off by saying that I love your videos, your art is great, please don't stop making these!
    So I am a protestant Christian (baptist, to be more specific), and I've always felt unsatisfied with the sermons and youth group at my local church. My youth group leader always seemed to go on about the same thing over and over again. I always felt like my church was stripping away any form of tradition or explanation of God's Word. I felt bored, uninterested, and like nothing was genuine about the church. It also didn't help that I had no friends in church or anyone to actually talk to about my faith. I felt so isolated in a place that is supposed to give you a sense 0f community.
    So when I learned about the Byzantines in history and The Great Schism, I was introduced to Orthodox Christianity. I was interested and I researched what it was. That's how I found your channel. Finally, everything clicked, and I was so excited to re-learn and experience His Message from a whole new perspective.
    But then I learned most Orthodox Christians are commonly Russian, Greek, Serbian, etc. My family comes from European descent, primarily English, Scottish, Irish, Deutch, and German. I suddenly thought about how I might be overstepping on cultures, how I could be greatly appropriating these cultures.
    So what should I do? I still haven't told my parents about how I feel. ( I don't want to be asked questions from others in my church on Easter, as to why I haven't gone to church in forever.) My father didn't mind me leaving the youth group, as he didn't like our current church and wants to find a new one (though he isn't very religious.). My step-mom is from Brazil, which is VERY Catholic. Can I still be Orthodox even if I'm not Russian, Greek, etc?

22. Hello Bojan, I had a question based on something you said in your video Bad Reasons to Convert and Stay Orthodox (Pencils & Prayer Ropes). In the video, you describe one of the bad reasons for becoming a Christian as the “Logicians & Fakirs”. This is true for me; I grew up in a Christian home but eventually became apathetic to the faith. I was turned back to Christ due to the experience of a miraculous event. For a time, I grew very close to God and saw many miracles. This gave me a great deal of spiritual pride for I believed these revelations to be an indicator of my spiritual prowess. But when the crows and thorns came, I was shown the shallowness of my roots in faith. For the past few years, I have been undulating between complete apathetic hedonism culminating in lobotomic slothfulness and depression on the one hand and aesthetic spiritual contentment on the other. Do you have any advice on how to foster a true and deep love for God that changes a person all the way down? I have been praying for it for a long time in a variety of ways. In desperation, I pray for God to kill the old me. And in elation, I ask for God to fill me with love for him. What can I do to truly love and desire God above all else? I try to fill my days with prayer, in the good days sometimes it truly feels like I walk everywhere with God no matter the hardship. But on the bad days, I can do nothing but cry out desperately. If you have any advice, I would be grateful, your videos are a great comfort to me.
