Elder Dionisie Ignat was born in 1909 in Vorniceni, Romania and arrived in Mount Athos at the age of 17. Here he lived for 78 years until he fell asleep in the Lord on May 11, 2004. While on Mount Athos, Elder Dionisie gave countless pilgrims and monks advice and words of encouragement regarding their spiritual battles. ELder Dionisie pray for us!
