ΚΥΡΙΕ, ἐδοκίμασάς με, καὶ ἔγνως με· σὺ ἔγνως τὴν καθέδραν μου καὶ τὴν ἔγερσίν μου, σὺ συνῆκας τοὺς διαλογισμούς μου ἀπὸ μακρόθεν· ἰδού, Κύριε, σὺ ἔγνως πάντα, τὰ ἔσχατα καὶ τὰ ἀρχαῖα· σὺ ἔπλασάς με καὶ ἔθηκας ἐπ᾿ ἐμὲ τὴν χεῖρά σου. Ποῦ πορευθῶ ἀπὸ τοῦ πνεύματός σου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ προσώπου σου ποῦ φύγω; ἐὰν ἀναβῶ εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν, σὺ ἐκεῖ εἶ, ἐὰν καταβῶ εἰς τὸν ᾅδην, πάρει· ἐὰν ἀναλάβοιμι τὰς πτέρυγάς μου κατ᾿ ὄρθρον καὶ κατασκηνώσω εἰς τὰ ἔσχατα τῆς θαλάσσης, καὶ γὰρ ἐκεῖ ἡ χείρ σου ὁδηγήσει με

0 LORD, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off; Alleluia.
But behold, 0 LORD, You know it altogether.
You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me; Alleluia.
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence? Alleluia.
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there; Alleluia.
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me; Alleluia.
