13. My journey as an Englishman has been. Occultist>hare krishna> evangelical> Holy Orthodoxy where the journey to the truth was ended, or fulfilled, and the journey through salvation and repentance began. Been Orthodox now for 24 years and thank God daily for it. ☦️☦️☦️

26. Okay, this is a wonderful story and perspective, and then when he said his wife is Sikh, I was like… wow. That is beautiful. I am moving more and more towards Orthodoxy but I actually spent a fair amount of time with the Sikhs, and read much of their sacred literature. They are a beautiful and precious people. I was the white guy with a turban and beard for a while. There is truly only one God, and the life of Guru Nanak was so much like Christ. For me, The Christian faith is where my heart resonates. I love Jesus and believe His holy words and in His holy death and resurrection. But when I think of God, I also think of Waheguru, who Guru Nanak Ji said is “One God manifested as truth, without fear and without hatred.” He has been grasped at by every culture, and I am thankful to see someone come to the Christian faith that actually has an appreciation of other cultures and sees their worth! One thing that has turned me off from Christianity for years is the disregard of other faiths and cultures. Everyone else doesn’t has to be wrong for our faith to be right and meaningful. It seems to appreciate and learn from others is a better witness for Christ, in Who there is “no male or female, Jew or Gentile, as all are one in Christ Jesus.” 🙏🏽💜✝️

27. I'm English from an Irish background. Because I was raised in an Irish Catholic family, it was in a way sort of acceptable to people for cultural reasons so long as you were not devout.

    Despite the upbringing I drifted away from it as primarily disillusioned with the Novus Ordo Mass. I was interested in new age spiritualism for a while but that faded.
    I discovered Orthodoxy in Greece on a lads holiday in 2010 which started my journey. I have been Orthodox for a year now ☦
