This is absolutely true. Religion is on its deathbed in the West. I know because I live in Canada. Canada and the USA are extremely anti-Christian countries. I talked to a girl from Ukraine yesterday and she said that Ukraine really wants to become more like the West in terms of education and other things. That is horrible. There are some bright lights in Eastern Europe though. Russia and Georgia have opposed the radical homosexual agenda and Poland wants to make all forms of abortion illegal. Ukraine can still save itself but the West has gone too far. It needs to be reduced to rubble and rebuilt with a Christian foundation. That foundation is Scripture and the teachings of the Saints.

Ever since I have decided to become Orthodox, I have loved Russia. As an American, the Orthodox faith had changed my entire view on the moral framework of the Russian nation. I pray that the Russian Church tightens its grip on its own country, which is still ripe with the abortion practice. I also pray for my own county, the United States of America, to wake up from its own ignorance. Our culture is sick. It's degenerate. It's disgusting. And quite honestly, I cannot say that we are the best country in the world anymore. Despite this, I will never move to Russia and become a Russian citizen, as much as I would like too. I must stay with my people, and a I must stay with the Orthodox Church of America, until my end. Finally, I pray for an end to hostilities between Patriarch Barathomew of Constantinople, and Patriarch Cyrill of Russia. However this hostility may need, I wish for it to end.

I am an American, my forefathers founded a nation based on the ideals of secularism and it has been a disaster for the whole world and especially our people, i remember watching this video a year or so and others from patriarch Kirill and I decided I was going to become orthodox and I hope to be accepted into the church soon and I will never go back to the secular chaos and evil may god grant patriarch Kirill many years the little short videos on YouTube of righteous men speaking on these issues ring true to many of us here especially the young generations and have the potential make converts all over the world.
