Wish my church was like that. Maybe i need to talk to priest about volunterring my time to learn chanting, etc. Music for the soul BEAUTIFUL , made.my day better. God bless you all
Hi Can the owners of this channel post a full Divine liturgy in traditional Greek with male chanters. In full Byzantine chant.
Аллилуйя!
This was absolutely Divine, the Deacon's voice is so intoxicating. The way he followed choir by chanting quotes from the Psalms was so moving and beautiful. This Liturgy is like a living organism, other deacon is spreading incense, another deacon slowly emerging with the Gospel, while the Patriarch is sitting on the throne. In Church-Slavonic before Liturgy starts, a bishop (Patriarch) would tell the clergy that surround him, "Let us create for the Lord." And then they would all face the altar and raise their hands. Truly Liturgy is a supreme creation that human kind can offer.
Thank you for the translation
What church is this? Where is this parish? So beautiful!
That's no priest! Those lying Russian's how dare they use Brian Blessed image to con us. GORDON'S ALIVE! ( See clip ) https://youtu.be/N_dWpCy8rdc
So this is what SAW's Pat & Mick song called "Let's All Chant" was about!
This is an Alleluia of the 1st tone, correct?
Whose arrangement is this? And is the score available online?
