It is true that there are sources who predate Augustine who hold to the non-supernatural view of Gen 6.
It is also true that Augustine’s articulation of this view is what led to so many who followed after him to hold the same view.
De Young would have been more accurate to say that Augustine was the most historically influential source of this teaching. He was doubtless influenced by the sources mentioned here, and I’m glad you gave them their proper history.
I do agree with De Young, however, that the non-supernatural view of Gen 6 strips a great deal of meaning from the Old and New Testaments. The textual evidence and references in Jude, etc is overwhelming in favor of the supernatural view of Gen 6.
