The view of the atonement you seem to hold to is the Christus Victor. Is this common for Orthodox Christians to hold to this view of the atonement?
How do you come to belief? It's not just a matter of clicking your fingers, after all. I'm new and trying. I'm attending church and doing bible study etc. Is there something else I should know?
Christ has risen
Proud to be an Indian orthodox Christian
hi, i’m half british half greek! born in england would i be able to be apart of the bulgarian or greek othordox community? i’m trying to find out what is more suitable for me and i’m trying to learn more about each.
every brazilian house has an icon corner, it is beautiful
I've been thinking for a long time about conversion to the orthodox faith, but i can't make sense of the territorial aspect and the diasporic aspect of it
I am a Christian from Pentecostal and we share so much in common like mostly everything we share in common like I wonder what is your doctrine I would like to see if we could talk about it I'm so intrigued by it because we really share the same thing..
Glory to God! What a fantastic production. Anyone can benefit from this. God bless you.
I have a few questions about Orthadox church. These come to mind.
1. I love hymn singing in the congregation of my protestant churches. But I don't see any videos of orthodox congregations singing….only priestly chants and choirs…
2. Why do priests wear headgear when Paul teaches that only women should cover the head in church?
3. Confession – does orthodox church require members to confess sins to priests similar to R Catholic practice?
☦Thanks for the video .I'm an orthodox romanian
Syriac-Aramaic Orthodox ☦️❤️💛🦅💛❤️☝️ and proud ☝️💪
Really good video. Well done man, doing a good work.
When these videos are made I wonder who the target audience is. I watch largely for the dry humour and intriguing artwork, but reading the comments it seems like most regard you as an evangelist? meh lol
Orthodoxy really seems to be a way of practicing Christianity that I agree on, at least on most points. But the place where I live is Protestant and I don't know if it's even possible to become Orthodox without being in an Orthodox community and going to an Orthodox church.. I simply don't have the Orthodox background
I almost felt like becoming an orthodox, but am content to be a roman catholic. Compliments from Brazil.
A am blessed to be an Orthodox Christian. Glory to God.
I'm Roman Catholic from Québec but I'm considering converting to Orthodoxy due to the influx of modernism/liberalism in Roman Catholicism.
I would like to convert to the Orthodox Church, I am Protestant. Besides learning as much as I can, which I am doing, what should my first steps be?
3:20 – And yet there' s no direct Orthodox translation of their Bible into English. I'm told you folks use the RSV, the versions with 3rd Maccabees and Psalm 151 included. Wonder why.
How can we know we have a guardian angel?
Orthodoxy is a beautiful form of Christianity.
Honestly, this is one of the best explanations of Orthodoxy I've ever seen, and I've watched a ton. Bravo! ☦️🖤👏
13:14 Seeing this picture got me thinking that maybe Church is made from Christ's blood just like Eve was made from Adam's rib
"Short video" 13:43 later
As a catechumen I cannot tell you how helpful I find these short videos that succinctly put some very complicated ideas. Thank you and God be with you. ☦️🙏☦️
I’m a Romanian Othrodox, and I was born in a Orthodox family ( except my mom, she’s a protestant ). ☦️
And I’m proud :p
"Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out" Luke 8:2 Why do you described Mary Magdalene as a model of repentance? She wasn't a prostitute and she wasn't the adulterer that Jesus saved from stoning. She was a sinner as we all are sinners.
I'm blessed I found this video. I was raised pentecostal as a child then lost my way. Now in adulthood I had the calling from God and the Orthodox ways are what I always envisioned.
