4. In hebrew culture "name" can be defined as character. We are to have Christ's character as Christians. We are getting rid of the old man to put on the new man which is Jesus Christ.

14. Do not be afraid of using Jesus name when you are praying and speaking from a righteouss place….it is the faith in his name that heals and saves.

15. This teaching stinks of a repenter's turning power, rather than of the sovereign grace of God as the foundation and as the heart strengthener. Only the love of God can hold your attention through a temptation, like a child. To be born again: When did love lose your attention to temptation? When did love win your attention over temptation and sin? Look to this love, to be rooted and established in love (Ephesians 3:17).

17. Yep…I'm a Catholic revert and even after returning to the Church 15 years ago, I still catch myself ending a prayer "in the name of Jesus" every once in a while. This was excellent, thank you! I saw your most recent video right before this one and after watching this, I am subscribing and looking forward to exploring your other videos.

23. As a baptist Christian I can see what you mean about charismatics, God only promises salvation through his son Jesus and nothing more. We don’t deserve anything from God for he has given us everything already

24. Thank you Father. Really appreciate this distinction being made, that the Name is not an incantation or a mystical guarantee of getting anything we wish for. This unfortunately does happen a lot in the west. Then people are disappointed that they didn't get their wishes.

25. Reminds me of the pop music Christian song; THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS… There is but its not a magical spell for our personal needs.

27. Respectfully, I disagree Brother. It is, or certainly can be, a feeling. Perhaps you are familiar Jakob Boehme? His words are true, even if your church doesn't allow them.
