14. A little over a year ago I came across his book ancient paths. I was a protestant at the time and thought myself an ardent Christian but did not even know such a thing as Orthodoxy existed. I thought the book was about ancient Christianity. I downloaded a sample on Kindle and began reading. I was hooked! I was amazed! I ordered the full book and began reading the full book all the way through. Afterward I contacted him with questions. I then converted to the True faith! I am continually watching for and reading each new book. He is in a way a miracle to me and my life. Without that book I would never have found or known of the True Church. I pray for him and his own every day and thank God for his service that brought me life in darkness. Thank you so very much father

16. Excuse me but only the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches venerate relics of the saints and other items. True Christianity we respect them but do not kiss them and worship them this father can try to say that veneration and worship are two different acts but I never saw a person kiss a piece of wood and a part of a body from a saint looks like worship to me and doesn’t. The church put these relics under the altar so basically they are worship since the eo and dc church Consecrate the bread and wine on that same altar

17. @Farther Spyridon. @7:00 the theology you espouse is utterly false, misleading and damning. Necromancy, self sacrifice over Jesus' sacrifice, idol worship, pride of man over humilty towards God…all cloaked in a false humility disguised as service. Dont be fooled not deceived, as i dont say these things lightly because your very soul hangs in the balance. If you continue down the path you have set, based on the traditions of man with which you follow, just as the scripture says, you will be spit out and suffer eternal punishment.

    Please please PLEASE stop praying to idols and leading others astray with these false teachings that are based in superstition that are they themselves based on corrupted re- writings of the basic fundamental books of the historical bible.

    I can tell that youre a nice guy who is well intentioned and that you wouldnt hurt a flea….but sir, you have been SEVERLY mis-lead into who Jesus is, why He shed His blood, and for what purpose you have been born.

18. Relics and their veneration were among the most confusing and alien aspects of Holy Orthodoxy when I was first exposed to it. (Now, many years later and Orthodox, I have been blessed to venerate many sacred relics which has been an immense blessing.) This is one of the best explications of relics I have ever come across and would have been wonderfully helpful to me then!

19. Father Spyridon you are a real blessing in these very conflicting times. There is so much talk about crazy things on YouTube that it is hard to discern truth. I pray daily not to be mislead, I ask for guidance from St. Seraphim of Sarov who I feel blessed to have a relationship with (how do our souls know these things?) God is awesome. Thank you for the work you do Fr. Spyridon!

23. What will happen to those, whose bodies were masacred or cremated? It's not their fault, can it influence their souls? And what about taking the parts of bodies of saints, like bones from them. Isn't it desecration of them?

24. if the body is cremated or blown up in a blast or eaten by animals or destroyed somewhere or lost in space, will it be resurrected ? or what will happen to it ???

    Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

    You may say venerate is not worship, but it is. Veneration is worship.

Matérial things, relics, paintings, statues, golden harware…all this is part of a world that is passing away…rather than a bone of st Lazarus, i would rather have his writen testimony…where are these writings?
