Got delayed, so Genesis 22 will be postponed for next week. 🙂
Wow, that was good. Thanks for that. May God bless you.
Бог те благословио, која ти је парохија?
Nice video. I do have a question though. On many icons of the Prophet Daniel, there appears to be a red box or something on his head. Is this the tefillin, that box of a Scripture verse that you drew on your Pharisees's head?
Ouch
Dare I say this reminds me of how sometimes we think we are better because we are orthodox
Boasting on faith , failing in hope and love…
Nice Hugo Boss shoes the Pharisee is wearing. Gotta get me some……
Great video and subject to pray upon
Thank you! pride is such an ugly little thing, it just sort of sneaks up on us and before we know it we are prideful.
Pride can do so much damage, as your story about the young mother who came to church without a headscarf; the saddest part of the story, she may never return again.
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on us.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
Yes pride could be very bad, the Pharisee followed the outward rules, but inside they were empty of love of God, but harlots and tax collectors even though they were sinners showed love and humility, like the story of the woman wiping Jesus's feet with her hair and anointing him with a expensive perfume.
Great video really makes me think.
Isn't it conceptually weird how some Christians have a hard time staying humble when the bible is all about humility?
Thank you for this video. Sometimes, I have moments where I forget that I am the worst sinner on Earth, and I fall into the trap of pharisaical temptation, and such temptation only adds more weight to my fall into sin.
Orthodox Priest in my town remind me of pharisees
I should send this to my roommate
The moment when you realise that even when you try hard not to be one and you start to feel you’re doing good at that you just become one again.
It’s a trap!
Your lessons are always so profound, so to the point; they stab you in the heart and make you think.
Thank you so much for sharing.
I liked the music more in this one.
The Pharisees in Hebrew Perushim are the basis for Orthodox Judaism cuz they are the progenitors of the Talmudic Era Rabbis. However the Law ie TORAH is an obligation on us JEWS, not salvation. U get the reward but god doesn't want u to do X Y Z cuz u know u get spiritual reward but rather cuz he said so and being born a member of the house of Israel entrusts u with certain commandments 613 in a total of which nowadays without the Temple in Jerusalem However, only 297 of the commandments are relevant to today. which is why Chasidic orthodox Jews believe in Reincarnation and say that the jews nowdays were jews that were alive during the temple and een Jesus;s time who have to fulfill difrrent comandments under diffrent presssures and need to bring the 3rd temple soon in our days Lord.
We used this video at my OCF (Orthodox Christian Fellowship, the official Orthodox College Student Group in the USA) chapter for a meeting. Thank you!
Great lesson, Bible Illustrated.
Confutatis maledictis
Flammis acribus addictis
Voca me cum benedictis
This was wonderful and very convicting. Thank you.
This is something that has always confused me. I guess it’s linked to taking His name in vain
Whenever someone trash talks a prostitute in a self righteous way, I will say “Yeah? Well this prostitute will be in heaven before you so be quiet”
Oof. B…but I love those bits where He rebukes them, if only internet debates could be that good. Thanks for the insight, I'd never thought about it along those lines before, but it's true, enjoying the Pharisees getting btfo is rather missing the point, and on dangerous ground in terms of spiritual pride.
Thank you Bojan! Brilliant Video! Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy!
You talk of saints ..so I don't think you understand the spiritual meaning bucko…harlot is spiritual prostitution…and tax collector has to do wit unforgiveness…you twisting scripture buddy 🤔
I rejoice in my enemies being terrible people, because they keep punishing themselves. I know this is wrong, I even pray for them sometimes, but I know that my heart is wicked. I don't know what to do. They hurt me deeply, I just want them to feel pain too so that they understand how much hurt I felt. I tried to forgive but even years later I have a hard time just letting go of them or to stop thinking about them.
Let's be honest with ourselves. Not one of us wants a heaven where there are no harlets.
this is your best video, by far
