What is it with us Christians and beginning sermons with really tired jokes.
I grew up in the evangelical church. Then in my masters of counseling program (Richmont graduate U in Atlanta) I was reading the early church father's as part of my faith formation in the program. I graduated as an orthodox. I was the only orthodox in the school as the student body was baptist predominately. But I couldn't stay in my Evangelical ways after reading the church fathers who were the authors of the first church
