Love Father Turbo
This is a very timely message. Thank you Father Turbo. Much love for you! I hope that it's OK to consider you my priest.
I have a bad habit of sometimes not fully embracing the necessity of being an outsider. Living on such a worldly, superficial college campus makes me deeply appreciate how much the Fools for Christ embraced being outsiders ๐๐พโฆ๏ธ๐
Wonderful speech. Thank you.
Thank you father ๐๐๐ช๐๐ผโฆ๏ธ
Hes a good Father. I'm glad his words can reach a bigger audience with this.
I've found that being a convert is, in an earthly sense, a lonely experience. Not one of my previous close friends and family are Orthodox, nor do any of them seem to understand my journey. This includes my own children. Although I know we love one another, sometimes it feels as if we now speak a different language. But, all this has magnified the fellowship I feel with the holy ones and with our Lord. Also, my relationship with certain believers is beautifully different from any relationship I experienced before becoming Orthodox. So yes, being the outsider has been a cross and a blessing.
What an excellent perspective …
I'm really feeling this, being a new convert …
Thank you …
Man, Fr. Turbo Qualls! I remember listening to him on the Generation Orthodox podcast back in 2008. Great to still see him on social media.
