This is the third episode from my interview with Orthodox Protopresbyter, professor, and podcaster, Fr. Theodore Petrides.
Fr. Theodore is pastor of St.s Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Reading, PA. He has taught pastoral care at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Seminary, collaborated on the Orthodox Study Bible, and produces the podcast “Signs in Our Times” on Ancient Faith Radio.
In this episode, Fr. Theodore continues his discussion of some things that enquirers should understand about the Orthodox Church, including: good vs. bad reasons for becoming Orthodox, and the core of Orthodox faith and life.

Great series with Fr. Theodore. Thank you!
Such a beautiful response .
Never truer words! Thank you for this.
I am becoming orthodox and my first and main reason is because it is the truth it is the true church that was built by the apostles under Jesus Direction before he passed away. It is the true church! I also wanted a prayer life instead of just saying them willy-nilly here and there and I want to feel the Holy Spirit Within Me.
You know that scientists have gone back in time to find the North Star which is still in the sky. They came up with a date for that very bright star.
As we have found out Jesus was most likely born In March/ April. It was March/April in the year approximately 12.
