Should cut down on the intro.
I think is very useful to read the life’s of Orthodox saints to see their practice and their stragglers and how thei deal whit them. Just a suggest.
Orthodoxy is true… But not easy!
Very intriguing, in the aspiration of reaching sainthood through theosis one must be capable of love and forgiveness of the enemy and thus the sinner especially those aspects within ourselves.
Though it doesn't end there, if anything this aspect is the consistent test of faith throughout ones prigilmage up the stairway to heaven.
This orthodox discussion of theosis is extremely intriguing almost to the point of conversation.
When placed in the context of the lectures of Jordan Peterson in the ideal highest goal and Jonathan Pageau's discussions on hierarchy.
All this brings me back to the ideals of the stories of Tower of Babel and Moses on the Mount. The symbolic depth of both of these stories in how they relate to theosis, nihilism and totalitarianism.
Really good. Thanks.
Keep it up, loving the content!
MY NAME! LOL
Good interview!
How blessed people who have Father Stephen Freeman as a spiritual father must be! I am a Lutheran moving in the direction of converting to Orthodoxy, and this was wonderful to hear during Lent. Thank you!
Wise and comforting reminder
Great video! I really liked the quote from Saint Silouan.
How do you find a church in the US that is not based on ethnicity.
As a priest I would advise newly Orthodox not to rush. Many newly converted people think they are capable of great ascetic exercises and when they fail they are disappointed. It takes time to develop a truly Orthodox mentality. Also if you try to keep.Christ in your heart and mind at all times everything else becomes easier. In reference to.this excellent video I would like to point out that love and forgiveness are not always easy but the sin of hate is a trap anyone can easily fall.into. Lastly I would like to point out that there is no inappropriate time or place to pray.
Love it!
Absolutely beautifully explained. I converted to Orthodoxy many years ago and I feel full fill over the years. I enjoyed your interview about "Love God and Love your Enemies".
As a Protestant looking into Orthodoxy very seriously (one foot is out the door already), your videos have been really helpful and uplifting. Merry Christmas!
Forgive everyone for everything . Facts!
