Greetings, brethren! Question, anyone knows the explanation to this? After protestant arguments regarding the title 'father' used for our priests, I was faced with the verse by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where He states in Mattthew 23:9 "Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven" . The whole argument 'yeah, but you call your dad father, does not hold water in my humble opinion and is not something I consider a solid argument as Christ obviously wasn't mentioning that, needless to say".
