I need to get in touch with Marta or Calopie, dear friends
This is why , not updated,
servant of Christ Mary
I am Mary, I conversed by e-mail and you prayed for me after a dire spiritual situation in Memphis, Tn. when my Mother died. Father Catlin Mot, had to come from the OCA, and exorcise me. He commanded me to leave Michigan because I was to far away to attend any Orthodox Church. Father Hopko has kept me in prayer. Father Troy in Memphis at Saint John's and nearly all at the OCA. I have been Orthodox for quite some time and know that the enemy cannot cruse me. I did go to west Palm Beach , and Father Peter at Saint Mary's anointed me, as did Father Andrew at Saint Catherine’s, please pray.Father, Please try to understand, I do not have transportation, nor money, I am social security. My new truck was wrecked by this thing. It screamed so loud I could not focus. My truck was totaled, through God's grace not A bone was broken, the doctors said my ribs should have been crushed, and my face though gravely damaged healed after three surgeries.
When I went to Florida it took all my money, my oldest granddaughter was there, it tried to kill her too. However she had no Idea what was trying to chock her. I kept going to Saint Catherine's in West Palm Beach,Father knew but assured me that His prayers were powerful before God. After church one Sunday it pushed me down and nearly killed me, three weeks in A hospital,I went right to Saint Mary's as soon as I got out of the hospital, and Father Peter horror struck nearly covered me with anointing oil. He prayed for me. Father Peter and I share A dear friend, Father Troy in Memphis, Tn. another orthodox priest whom has known me since my early conversation, so I felt more at peace talking to him. Shortly after due to money and my grand daughter leaving I had to leave and return here. I have A driver's license and excellent record, but no vehicle. I will do what I can. God Bless you for your prayers.

2:11 For the grace of God that brought us Salvation, grant us peace, HIS LOVE, and Presence
Amen,
“Dynamis!”and His Dynamis! AMEN
Amen, for All not some praise HIM Be still, and know that I am God. – Psalm 46:10 THE SOUL
How your Soul Differs from that of an Animal
The Orthodox Church teaches that animals have souls, although not the same as ours. When conceived, God bestows upon us the nous, which distinguishes us from the other animals. It is the nous that is the eye of the soul, intelligent and noetic, and by nature designed to commune with God. The nous is the center of man and is where true (spiritual) knowledge is validated.
"God will often begin to shift something in you before He shifts things around you. Don't fear what you feel. Trust the one orchestrating it!" people and exclaims “Dynamis!” which is commonly translated “with strength”. The celebrant raises his voice and intones this command, thus telling all who are singing that this is the time in the liturgy when our voices should be raised the loudest, because this is the time the Church proclaims the nature of our Triune God.
This one word encourages us to chant the last repetition of the Trisagion Hymn with even greater conviction and reminds us to lift up our heart and mind to focus on the Divine.
very helpful and inspiring.
If you're interested in Greek Orthodoxy, Bishop Kalistos Ware has written an excellent introduction: ''The Orthodox Church: An Introduction to Eastern Christianity'. he gives a good historical and cultural context for the tradition, too.
Thank you for sharing this video. It is always a privilege to get to hear Bishop Kallistos Ware, but it would have been interesting to hear the questions and discussion that followed, too.
