Good morning! You mentioned the example of people not listening to each other, reminds me also of pro-abortion/anti-abortion. Those 2 groups never reach each other.
I have found the most effective way to describe the trinity is to resort to the description provided by the Didascalia apostolorum, which in chapter 9 uses the liturgical relationship between the bishop and deacons to describe the trinity. The writer says we should regard the bishop like God the father, the male deacon like Christ and the women deacon like the Holy Spirit. This does rely on understanding that the deacon is the agent of the bishop and each are independent persons but share a ministry at the holy table. It is a very visual image but can help us understand or at least conceive how to comprehend the trinity.
