John 4:21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.”
Welcome to the first episode in our new series, “Neither Here Nor in Jerusalem”. In this series, we hope to bring you field reports from various churches and other sacred Orthodox sites across the world. In this first episode, Strati visits Saint Savas Temple, also known as the Church of Saint Sava, in Belgrade, Serbia. The church is dedicated to Saint Sava, the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church and an important figure in Serbian history. It is built on the presumed location of St. Sava’s grave. Today’s episode is presented in honor of the Serbian saints remembered today on the church calendar, with the Synaxis of the Holy Hierarchs of Serbia and also the Holy New Martyrs of Serbia. We hope to bring you more episodes in the near future!

Saint Sava was the first Archbishop of the autocephalous Serbian Church, and not the founder, the founder was Jesus Christ.
oldest serbiand monasteryes and curches are on Kosovo and Metohija
800 000 Serbs were killed in Death camps by Croatian Nazis not 800
The is a Serbian Orthodox church which sits on the Vračar plateau in Belgrade, Serbia. The church is dedicated to Saint Sava, the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church and an important figure in medieval Serbia. It is built on the presumed location of St. Sava's grave. His coffin had been moved from Mileševa Monastery to Belgrade. It was placed on a pyre and burnt in 1595 by Ottoman Grand Vizier Sinan Pasha. The Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade is dedicated to him, built where the Ottomans burnt his remains
our most important monasteries from the period of the Nemanjic dynasty are located in Kosovo and Metohija☦️🇷🇸

The church is finally being completed. I am so happy to see it finally finished after 100 years since the start of its construction.
Great video! 👍👍
Jesus power
The whole Christian world will find its sanctuary here — as the faith slowly seize to exist in the west.
For one quite awkward initial presentation you are quiet informed about frescoes. You had great research and help.

St. Sava is the first recognized Serbian Archbishop, otherwise Serbian Orthodoxy is much older if we know about Serbian Saints from the first century.
Today, January 27, Saint Sava is celebrated. Today is the day of Saint Sava.
One interesting fact: When thunder is heard on the day of Saint Sava on January 27, it means that something very bad will happen to the Serbian people in the same year. I remember January 27, 1995, when around noon it was snowing with very large snowflakes and strong thunder was heard at the same time. I have never seen such a phenomenon. Unfortunately, in the same year, 1995, Croats expelled more than 300,000 people in Operation Flash and Storm, while thousands of Serb civilians were killed. NATO also bombed Serbs in Bosnia in 1995. Lightning also thundered with heavy rain on January 27, 1999. Thunder also hit the roof of the temple of Saint Sava in January 27. 1999. and since March 24, 1999, NATO has bombed Serbia, killing about 3,500 people, mostly civilians. And on June 10, 1999, we had to hand over the holy land of Kosovo & Metohija to Albanian Muslims and Americans, which is now occupied. Today, January 27, 2021. fortunately, there was no thunder. In 1995. I was 14 years old and I immediately realized that there was something miraculous.

God bless you all! I dont know if it is my place to say this but it would be awesome if you would do a video on the |||Bigorski Monastary||| (St. John the Baptist). It is really beautiful! You should look it up! Thank you!
He's the one been chosen, played the part better than Moses! 👊
You should see our monestries on Kosovo and Metohija….and they who was burned and others….that walls have lot of story to tell…
Romanovs are really respectes amongs Serbs. They helped us in revolutions against Ottomans. Thats the connextion with Russians that we have till this days. And Nicholas entered in world war I to defend Serbs and later eventa of ww1 led to communist revolution and killings of Romanov family. So we have great respect for them.
He wasn't a founder of Serbian people because Serbian people exist for thousands of years.
