Translation and adaptation (unfortunately the rhyme got lost in the translation):
R: Blessed are You, O Lord!
A wonderful mystery // is revealed on earth.
In the holy cave, // the Seraphim chant.
In the cradle on dry hay, // Christ the Most Good One.
Shepherds come at night // bringing wool and milk.
The gentle Baby looks at them // and His face darkens with grief.
For the Baby knows // the things to come.
He sees the soft wool // as His burial cloth.
He sees the cave // as His stone tomb.
He sees His caring Mother // in great grief.
But in the dark sky, // the light rises.
From the stone tomb, // Life rises.
The star in the sky shines, // the Baby smiles again.
A wonderful mystery // is revealed on earth.
