Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner. Thank you father.
Thank you, Father Spyridon, for these words of wisdom.
"Even temporary ease and self-pity decrease the pace of spiritual progress." This quote spoke to me, as given my current state of affairs, I have felt quite tempted to break the fast just to help make myself feel better. God grant me, a pitiful sinner, strength with which to continue my progress in this difficult Lenten season!
Excellent video, I love that you quoted Fr. Serephim Rose toward the end. He came highly recommend by me from a friend, so I just picked up his book Not Of This World, and I must say, I absolutely love him. I am new to the Orthodox faith, I'm not yet baptized.
He wanted Lazarus 2 dip finger in water 2 sooth his tung because he was burning in hell. At least a little water on tung it's better than nothing. And Lazarus said no 2 teach us that once you're in hell theirs nothing 2 b done 4 u.
Wanna hear a joke Father?
Person 1 – "What do you call a Christian who devotes his entire life to the faith?"
Person 2 – "That would be called a monk"
Person 1 – "what do you call a Jew who devotes his entire life to their faith?"
Person 2 – "Those are called bankers"
Thank you Father Spyridon for these short, but deep nuggets of truth, God’s truth.
Thank you, Father Spyridon.
God bless you father
Forgive me Lord !
Wisdom is food for the Soul. May this knowladge impact in our hearts and move us to stay Connected with God. To God be the Glory and Honour are yours Forever Amen.
I think if we all read the same word you have read, and all ‘Fathers’ have we will all understand the Word. What a wonderful pandemic this has become: we all can read and study to the level of all Churches “fathers”. And become one with God. Without the church and tithes.
Father I love your sermon it short and to the core points.
God bless your service abundantly.
Most excellent! Thank you, Fr.
Thank you Father for message, pray for us ,from malaysia.
there is no need to interpret the word rich in a spiritual way. this believe had brought even writers of bibleversion to the conclusion, that money is not a bad thing. if u compare matthew 6:24 in different versions u will find that. as far as i see, money is the mainsin of humans. if u read the bible closly you will find that not only in jesus live, also in the writings about the early christians, and how they treatet money, and in the circumstance, that jesus did free his apostels from the coins and let judas carry it.
"you can not have 2 lords"
and even in his afterlife, when he installed christmas on earth with his angels, he wanted to show us that sharing for free makes the magic happen, and its not counting every minute and hour and every item that you want others to have. when humanity starts beeing able to share for free, we will be the most glorious humans ever lived on earth.
and the devil will have no more way to very very thin ways.
money is indeed the sin why i was born here, listen closely
Perfect
I wish i were worthy. Have mercy upon me
Christianity needs scholars, teachers and evangelists – but does Christianity need priests?
Thank you father and praise THE Father
The God who created you without permission can't save you without your permission 🙏
you have Micheal's teeth. God bless you.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
Thank you for your words Father.
Please pray for me.
Lord Jesus Christ , Son of God , have mercy on me a sinner.
Thank you for your words Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.
Thank you for your words Father.
Orthodoxy… Terrifying as usual.
Reciting Jesus prayer now.
It is imprudent to castigate Jews for rejecting Christ because their blindness was divinely ordered. The parable of Lazarus was nothing to do with Jews. The Apostle Paul devoted his entire 11th chapter of Romans to the salvation of Jews at the end of the Age, when God wil remove their blindness and restore them fully. Love of mammon is without ethnic or racial boundaries.
Thankyou very much
Thank you 💜💜💜
"I never knew you," not "you never knew Me."
