Thank you Father Philip, God bless you!!!
I'm giving God a rest. I came to realize that I'm giving him too much responsibility for matters that are trivial and unnecessary. God will always live in my heart and soul, however people of today in this reality, if your not of the same religion takes being good and loving as a weakness and prey and take advantage of you easily. I limit myself for safety reasons and my heart is very sensitive and cannot withhold anymore heartbreak, therefore I must take responsibility and accomplish my own personal tasks and not rely on God so much. God helps those who helps themselves theory..too a extent. Your message is true to our kind..but to others in today's world ..you are prey..evil is always lurking and testing me..therefore I'm picking up my sword and shield and being my own warrior to God .something like Michael the archangel..who is my patron saint. .thankyou for reading my personal thoughts of God and myself. Prayers always for you father Phillip high warrior of our great lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you, God bless you now and forever
Thankyou father, always gives me a good Monday morning start, God bless you!
My key take away from this passage is the missing link – loving ourselves. Real love and acceptance, with all our 'flaws'. Only after then can we truly love another human being and then understand God's love for us. Most people, even the wealthy, healthy and acclaimed in this world don't really love themselves as God intended. The concept of a napoleon complex is maybe a testament to this truth.
That was beautiful Father Philip.
Eastern "orthodoxy" is heresy –>
Dear very Reverend Father Philip, Father Roman Braga, says that he learned to pray in solitary confinement where in his solitude he learned to slow down to listen to God,we know that Our Lord waits at the door of our heart for an invitation to enter,so it's up to us to slow down,go to & open that door.let him into our hearts, only then can we hope to love our neighbours as if they were us,for it is only with his presence in our hearts that we are capable of such a difficult task.Thank you for this much needed goading.
God bless you Fr Philip. Your Blessing. Thank you for making me remember He sought me, and, on his shoulders gently laid, brought me Home.
